This blog attempts to show pictures of nature one might see more in Rural areas that were taken in Milwaukee. Kind of like a take time to smell the roses or apprecriate what you have of nature that you might per chance spot in the City, hence the term Rural Milwaukee

Old Motor Cars in Forest Calendar or Images
While hiking deep into a Southern Wisconsin forest I came across this hidden group of old motor car. I felt that they had so much “character” that I wanted to make these photographs available to you. The calendar would make a great present for Father’s Day.
These pictures combine my love for nature with that of “Motor Cars”.

Off the bicycle path by McKinley Marina, Believe It or Not
Took this picture off the bicycle path that was the old train tracks that leads to McKinley Marina Today, believe it or not. I stopped to take this picture and a lady walking stopped alongside me and noticed it too. The tall grass was dried like wheat we thought. It looked out of place, but in the brief patches of sunlight it shined like gold.

This picture says many things
I took the picture atop a parking structure in downtown Milwaukee earlier in the day before the storm with torrential rains rolled into Milwaukee and caused so much flooding. These two are huddled in the corner.
